IP Whitelisting Authentication

IP Whitelisting Authentication

IP whitelisting lets you restrict access to your proxy connections to only approved IP addresses. This significantly enhances security by preventing unauthorized usage.

What is IP Whitelisting?

IP whitelisting is a security measure that allows only pre-approved IP addresses to connect to your proxy. Any connection attempt from a non-whitelisted IP will be rejected.

Setting Up IP Whitelisting

  1. Sign in to your ProxyPanel dashboard
  2. Click My Proxies from the left sidebar
  3. Click the IPv4 List button on your proxy
  4. A popup will appear — choose whether to apply the list to SOCKS5 or HTTP
  5. Add your IP addresses separated by commas, e.g.: 178.152.185.12, 145.196.157.10

Benefits

  • Enhanced Security — Protect sensitive data by restricting access to trusted IPs
  • Reduced Cyber Threats — Deter unauthorized access attempts and DDoS attacks
  • Controlled Access — Manage exactly who can use your proxy
  • Simplified Management — Easily update access permissions
  • Improved Performance — Optimize by limiting access to authorized IPs only
