Chrome Proxy Setup

Chrome uses the system proxy settings by default. Here's how to configure it.

Using System Proxy

  1. Configure your system proxy settings (see Windows or macOS guides)
  2. Chrome will automatically use the system proxy

Using SwitchyOmega Extension

For more control, install the SwitchyOmega extension:

  1. Install SwitchyOmega from the Chrome Web Store
  2. Click the extension icon > Options
  3. Create a new profile
  4. Set the protocol to SOCKS5 or HTTP
  5. Enter your proxy host and port
  6. Go to the Authentication tab and enter your API key
  7. Click Apply Changes
  8. Select your new profile from the extension icon
