Firefox Proxy Setup

Firefox has built-in proxy support, making setup straightforward.

Built-in Proxy Settings

1. Open Firefox > Settings (or type about:preferences in the address bar)
2. Scroll down to Network Settings and click Settings...
3. Select Manual proxy configuration
4. Enter your proxy details:
5. For HTTP: fill in HTTP Proxy and Port
6. For SOCKS5: fill in SOCKS Host and Port, select SOCKS v5
7. Check Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5 for better privacy
8. Click OK

Using FoxyProxy Extension

For easier proxy switching:

1. Install FoxyProxy
2. Click the extension icon > Options
3. Click Add New Proxy
4. Enter your proxy host, port, and select the protocol
5. Save and activate the proxy from the extension menu
